Active Playgrounds & Increased Physical Activity

All of our schools are looking at different ways to increase their Physical Activity offer for their children through the Governments 30:30 target. This means that every child should have the opportunity to have 30 minutes Physical Activity in the school day and 30 minutes outside of the school day through Extra Curricular activities and at home.

Our schools have a variety of initiatives to support including Active Playgrounds, Playground leaders, Daily Mile and timetabled Physical Activity lessons.
