Girls South Yorkshire Football School Games finalists for Bramley Sunnyside Juniors-26/01/26
Bramley Sunnyside Girls UKS2 Footballers represented Rotherham at the County Finals at Honeywell in Barnsley. The girls plays 5 games - won 3 and drew 2 meaning we topped the table with 13 out of a possible 15 points. JMAT Y5/6 Sportshall Athletics Competition-Wath Academy on 20/01/25
On Tuesday 20th January we hosted our popular Y5/6 Sportshall Athletics competition at Wath Academy Sportshall. JMAT PE Leads attend the Rotherham PE Conference at New York Stadium
On Thursday 15th January it was the Rotherham PE Conference at New York Stadium in partnership with Yorkshire Sport Foundation. Mr Bennett attended this event along with PE Leads from our JMAT Schools. Parkour Festival at Nova City for Bramley Sunnyside
Bramley Sunnyside took part in the Rotherham School Games Parkour Festival at Novacity in the Autumn term. It was an amazing afternoon of parkour where children learnt a variety of different skills and even had a go at breakdancing! Active Travel Week for Bramley Sunnyside Juniors
Bramley Sunnyside Juniors Road Safety Officers (JRSOs) led an assembly to encourage children to take part in our Active Travel Week – Christmas edition. Based on the JRSOs’ research, the school hosted walking buses from five different locations in the local community. Scooter Stunts Workshop at Kiveton Park Meadows Juniors
Kiveton Park Meadows invited CreActive Urban Activities into school again in Autumn 2 to deliver a Scooter Stunts Skills Workshop. This was a new workshop that all children thoroughly enjoyed and it a fantastic way to try new Physical Activities in School. JMAT Y5/6 Tag Rugby Competition for the “Matt Burrows Shield”-12/11/25
On Tuesday 12th November we hosted our popular JMAT Y5/6 Tag Rugby Competition for the “Matt Burrows Shield” . Matt was a parent of children at Wath CofE and had a massive impact on Rugby in the local area and supporting Rugby with our JMAT events. Hooton Pagnell Grand Opening of the new MUGA (Multi-use Games Area)
On Tuesday 4th November Mr Bennett & Mrs Smith was lucky enough to announce the opening of the MUGA (Multi-use Games Area) at Hooton Pagnell All Saints Primary. England Hockey Staff CPD at Rotherham Hockey Club
On the 15th October staff from our JMAT schools attended the Free England Hockey Staff training.
