JMAT Y5/6 Tag Rugby Competition for the “Matt Burrows Shield”-12/11/25
On Tuesday 12th November we hosted our popular JMAT Y5/6 Tag Rugby Competition for the “Matt Burrows Shield” . Matt was a parent of children at Wath CofE and had a massive impact on Rugby in the local area and supporting Rugby with our JMAT events. This trophy was won previously by Wath CofE in 2023 and also in 2024. The event went really well with the rain holding off and he had 6 schools taking part in total. Hooton Pagnell Grand Opening of the new MUGA (Multi-use Games Area)
On Tuesday 4th November Mr Bennett & Mrs Smith was lucky enough to announce the opening of the MUGA (Multi-use Games Area) at Hooton Pagnell All Saints Primary. The School has fundraised with the support of parents and the local community to make this dream a reality. The MUGA will have a massive impact on PE lessons and increased Physical Activity for the Children with Active Breaktimes/Lunchtimes & Afterschool Clubs. It was great to host our first ever JMAT KS2 Netball festival at Wath Academy Netball Courts. On Friday 10th October over 600 children took part in the Rotherham Cross Country finals at Herringthorpe Stadium.
