Over 1700 Children have taken Part in our JMAT Inter School Sports Events for 2025/2026

This year has been a successful year for our JMAT Schools. In total we have organised 14 inter school events between our schools and had 1707 at these events which is amazing. In total 15 of our schools have attended our JMAT only events. This means that two more schools have took part in our events this year and over 400 more children.
Alongside our JMAT school events our schools have continued to access External Inter School events such as School Games, Local Cluster Events and other External events such as Rotherham United Community Trust and Live & Learn Sports. By looking through our website you can see that schools have achieved success throughout the year and offered a vast amount of Inter School Competitions to our children.
New JMAT Sports Events
This year we have added some different events to our calendar including the Y3/4 and Y5/6 Hillcrest Football Club which was a massive success and we will continue this cup competition in the future. Congrats to Anston Hillcrest for winning the Y3/4 Trophy and Kiveton Park Meadows for winning the Y5/6 Trophy
KS1 & KS2 Wales Cluster Schools Mini Olympics Festival-We had just under 300 children take part in this event from all 5 our of Wales Cluster Schools.
KS2 Netball Festival-We organised our first ever JMAT Netball Festival in Partnership with Brampton Netball Club and Wath Academy Netball Scholarship Programme. In total we had 6 schools get involved and over 60 children
Continued Success and High Participation in Other JMAT Events
JMAT KS2 Cross Country: This event continued to be popular and was our biggest event to date with 725 children taking part from 8 of our schools
Y5/6 Boys and Girls Football League-Both of these rang well with 6 schools taking part in the Boys League and 7 schools taking part in the Girls League. This means that over 130 children took part in both leagues
KS1 & KS2 Girls Shooting Stars Festival-We had nearly 100 Girls and 5 schools taking part
