We organised our popular JMAT Y5/6 Boys football League again this year with the winners having their name on the shield. Like previous years we held this over two fixture nights (1st May & 8th May) at Wath Academy Astroturf from 3:30-5:30pm. This was a round robin format with all 7 schools playing each other two times for an overall winner.
The event was a massive success again with all schools who took part enjoying themselves and the standard of football really high. From Round 1 of fixtures the league table was realy close with Bramley Sunnyside leading Mexborough St John by 1 point. This changed in the second round of fixtures with Mexborough St John finishing on 53 points and Bramley Sunnyisde on 51 points. Congratulations to MSJ who are our JMAT Y5/6 Boys winners for this year adding to their Don & Dearne Schools Totty Cup win 🏆⚽️.
Thank you to Mr Flowers and Wath Academy Scholars for your support with the referees again, they all did a great job.
