JMAT PE Leads attend the Rotherham PE Conference at New York Stadium

On Thursday 15th January it was the Rotherham PE Conference at New York Stadium in partnership with Yorkshire Sport Foundation. Mr Bennett attended this event along with PE Leads from our JMAT Schools. The Conference was awell attended and included updates on the PE Curriculum from AfPE (Association for Physical Education) and workshops around Physical Literacy, Physical Activity and Hollistic PE Lessons and Curriculum. Mr Bennett came away with loads of ideas that he is looking forward to sharing with our schools for impacting our PE, School Sport & Physical Activity
Well done to Miss Goodwin at Bramley Sunnyside Juniors who delivered a case study on positive playgrounds in her school including how it was created and the impact that it has had.
