Bramley Sunnyside Y3/4 Football Cup

Eight of our Year 3/4 pupils took part in a football tournament hosted by Waverley Primary Academy. The boys played five group-stage matches, winning four and drawing one, which saw them finish top of their group. They cruised through the semi-final with a confident 1–0 win, creating plenty of scoring opportunities.

In the final, Alfie made a superb penalty save early on to keep the team in the game. Despite a late goal from the opposition, the boys finished as runners-up — an incredible achievement for their first time playing together. Several of our Year 3 boys represented the school for the first time and did an outstanding job, while the Year 4 boys led by example, showing excellent respect, sportsmanship, and encouragement until the final whistle.
