We organised the first of our Y5/6 Girls Fixture nights at Wath Academy Astroturf. Despite the blustery weather all of the Girls played some great football in the right spirit. Girls South Yorkshire Football School Games finalists for Bramley Sunnyside Juniors-26/01/26
Bramley Sunnyside Girls UKS2 Footballers represented Rotherham at the County Finals at Honeywell in Barnsley. The girls plays 5 games - won 3 and drew 2 meaning we topped the table with 13 out of a possible 15 points. So the Final contested by Bramley Sunnyside and Burton Road, with a 1-1 stalemate, before extra-time with no further score then to the penalty shoot-out, where Burton Road triumphed 3-2 to now go to the Northern Area Finals. On Friday 17 th October, 23 Rotherham schools competed in the Premier League Primary Stars Girls Regional Finals at Dinnington Resource Centre, in a bid to claim their place in the regional finals.
