This is a key role in helping ensure St Ann’s Primary School provides a safe, welcoming and well-maintained environment for pupils, staff, and visitors. We are looking for a proactive and committed individual with a strong sense of pride in their work and a willingness to be part of a friendly and supportive school community.
You will work under the guidance of the Headteacher and Chief Operations Officer to ensure the school site is secure, clean, safe and fully operational each day. The successful candidate will need to be organised, approachable and capable of working independently, sometimes responding quickly to arising needs.
Key responsibilities include:
· Daily site security, including unlocking/locking up and carrying out safety checks
· Routine maintenance, repairs and caretaking duties
· Monitoring cleaning standards and liaising with contractors
· Ensuring health and safety compliance across the school
· Supporting the smooth running of the school by being a visible and helpful presence
We are looking for someone who:
· Has experience of working in a similar role or with relevant practical skills
· Understands the importance of health and safety in a school setting
· Can work flexibly
· Is dependable, trustworthy and able to use their initiative
· Will contribute positively to the life of the school
This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive Trust and play a vital role in helping St Ann’s Primary School thrive. Visits to our school are warmly welcomed.
