This is an exciting opportunity for a well organised individual with excellent administrative, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills to join our friendly administrative team. You will be asked to provide general administrative support in the busy school office and be able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines. This is a full time permanent position, subject to the appropriate safeguarding checks and probationary period, working 37 hours per week, term time only plus 2 Inset days. You must understand the principles of confidentiality, safeguarding and delivering a quality service, showing the ability to communicate with staff, children and parents. You must be able to demonstrate the ability to work effectively as an individual and in a team. Ideally you will have worked within a busy school office or similar environment. You will work closely with the School Business Manager carrying out financial tasks. You will be asked to carry out other such associated duties as are reasonably assigned by the Headteacher or School Business Manager. We are a split site so you may be required to work at either location. Due to the nature of the setting an enhanced DBS will be required.
Brampton Ellis C of E Primary school is in the village of Brampton, originally built in 1865 the site has expanded over the years. Our Foundation Unit and KS1 site is separate to our KS2 Site, they are within walking distance. The school benefits from the founder George Ellis (a local landowner born in 1627) Trust giving financial support towards books, general equipment and major building works. The school belongs to the Diocese of Sheffield.
